Watch the Women’s Euros at the Fox Connaught
The Lionesses are in a tough group this year after winning the Euros back in 2022 - come join us at the Fox Connaught to cheer them on!
What are the Euros?
The 2025 UEFA Women's Championship is often known as UEFA Women's Euro 2025 or simply Euro 2025. This year, the tournament is being played in Switzerland between 2-27 July 2025. The UK women’s team, known as the Lionesses, are in Group D along with France, Wales and the Netherlands. This is the first year that Cymru, the Welsh team, is in the tournament so it will be fascinating to see how they play.
Where can I watch the Euros in London?
A number of women’s Euro matches will be shown on the big screen at the Fox Connaught - an independently-run, family-owned traditional public house with a great restaurant, bar area and rooms above.
Catch every moment of the action at The Fox Connaught, your home and away venue for live sport. See what’s on and check the times of games here.
What do I need to know about the England women’s football team?
The Lionesses have been a powerhouse in women's football for the past few years but recent retirements, injuries and a change in formation, has led to a shift in form. Their coach since their 2022 Euros win, Sarina Wiegman, has already led the team to the Women's World Cup final in 2023 but sadly, they failed to qualify for the Olympics and struggled with qualifying for the Euros. The Lionesses ended 2024 with 7 wins out of 12 games and battling injuries to some key players. BUT, punters are already talking about the potential of several new team members and the talent coming through. All eyes will be on the Lionesses this summer as they regroup and embrace the new players and formations. Who knows if they can retain their title but we can guarantee that they will give it their very best shot!
The Lionesses first game in the women's Euro 2025 group D is against France at the Stadion Letzigrund on Saturday 5th July with a kick off at 8pm. Don’t forget that we’re also showing the Wales vs Netherlands game at 5pm on this day too.
